Foster Earthmoving & Construction was built on a passion for quality earthworks, practical problem solving and creating solutions that stand the test of time.
Led by Chris Foster, our business brings years of hands on experience across earthmoving, civil construction, drainage and environmental works. We work with homeowners, rural property owners, builders, contractors and commercial clients to deliver tailored solutions that suit the land, project requirements and long term goals.
We understand that no two sites are the same. Every property presents its own challenges, whether it's steep terrain, drainage concerns, erosion issues or access limitations. That is why we take a practical, tailored approach to every project, focusing on solutions that are functional, durable and built to last.
Specialist Knowledge Built in the Field
Before starting Foster Earthmoving & Construction, Chris worked extensively in civil and environmental projects focused on waterways, drainage and erosion control, including major works for Melbourne Water.
A significant part of this work involved constructing rock chutes, beaching and erosion control structures within rivers and creeks, where correct rock placement, water flow management and long-term stability were critical.
This experience developed a strong passion for natural rock work and a deep understanding of how to create structures that not only look impressive but perform under pressure. Today, that specialist knowledge continues to shape the way we approach retaining walls, rock walls, drainage and erosion control projects across every site we work on.
